Not everyone's life can be said to be ~pretty~. In fact, less than one percent of the people that Zita Mazonn has known has ever led a pretty life, including herself. Zita was not favored when she was born, or throughout her young life by her family. She was said to be odd... bewitched... always talking about the spirits of the dead being within the trees, whispering, begging for a way home. This caused Zita's ostracism as soon as she was old enough to fend for herself. At the age of 8, Zita was sent from her home caravan into the wilderness. And she ~did~ survive. She became very much a nature's child and it wasn't until the age of 15 that Zita had interacted with another "human being".
A strange man, large in stature and seemingly cold in nature, came through the woods she had inhabited since she was cast aside. Finding the "wild child", this strange man took her in and brought her back to ~civilized~ living. He too noted her ability to see and talk to the ghosts around his domicile, but he did not train her. She was human, unlike him.
For another 5 years, Zita trained and learned and, finally, reintegrated back into he gypsy caravans. She settled and traveled with them, but was still very much a loner. This made it all the more easy and wonderful when Zita found someone to love: Piotr Mazonn. Piotr wasn't a very wealthy man, compared to many of his allies, but he was more wealthy than the gypsies Zita was traveling with. He did as was expected and courted her for a year before asking her to move to his Carpathian home with him.
Accepting, Zita moved back to the Carpathian mountains. Piotr, having feelings for her, took his time in explaining to her what he was, then his desire for her to be the same as he. Zita was 25 when she decided to take the next step in her evolution: to become a Vampire of the Mazonn bloodline. Her embrace was so intense, it actually took two of Piotr's family to pull him off her, before he drained her completely, killing her. Zita gained her sire's abilities of Supernatural speed and strength and inheriting, as well as mindreading and telepathy. He has yet to teach her his other abilities, because she is still very young, especially since he is more than 5 times her natural age.
Her wandering spirit never keeps her in one place very long, something said to be a gypsy curse, though who actually knows. Her path over the decades has tended to be a migration through the northern areas of Europe. It has only been in the last 5 or so years, that Zita and her Sire, Piotr, have had reason to worry about these patterns. Strange creatures have been spotted and the rumors of Authuirans attempting to overtake the earth, their territory, have come to pass by their ears. Her migration path now has to change and take her to newer pastures, in hopes of finding allies...
