Zuleika’s exact origins are unknown as none alive now know her in the days prior to being a Vampire. She rarely ever talks much about her days as a non-Lhaka vampire and has nearly never spoken about her days as a human, let alone when she was born as a human. What is known is she appeared within the Lhaka people approximately 1000 years ago, and at that time she would only say she was at least 200 years old.
What is known about her past is she was once a human and during that time she became a follower of the faith of the Lilith; though what clan and how, for how long she spent within one of the clans of Vampires is unknown. Zuleika refuses to speak about that time and won’t even acknowledge a question about her life before the night she was embraced. With all this secrecy about her origins many have come to look at her as one of the original human and Vampyric followers of Lilith. Some whisper she was captured and imprisoned by Vampires. At that time they tortured her fearing the followers of Lilith, and in time turned her into a Vampire. She would later escape and return to her kind, helping build the Lhaka Cullings. None of this is confirmed nor will she even comment on this, in fact last Lhaka to ask her about such things lost their tongue as she ripped it from their mouth. She never said why she did this nor as such an out lash from her been seen again, though nobody dares ask her about her past anymore.
Zuleika is one of the Elder’s of the Lhaka Vampires, and as such is a leader of a Culling. Cullings for Lhaka’s are like Clans for regular Vampires say for fact that each Culling is complete friends with all other Cullings. The only divides within the Lhaka nation is on policy of how to interact and be seen among the living and other Vampires. This divide isn’t large as all agree that remaining for the most part invisible is best plan, but with recent events showing that the war against Deamons is not going well, some Cullings are calling for the Lhaka nation to join the war directly while others still call for further retreat.
Zuleika is of Arabian decent, this is obvious when looking at her, yet she never confirms this like all things about herself. She bears no scars or anything physical that could stand out to identify her. She is generally calm and quiet leader but has been seen to have an extremely violent and murderous temper. Thought this temper has only been witnessed on two occasions, first being questioning of her past; second was when an Authurian Vampire had murdered one of her favored childe before her just to show his power. That Authurian is only seen Vampire to suffer full weight of her Plague Ability. That Authurian was infected to a point that they were reduced to the strength and fragility of a human then was forced into a sun cage and left for the sun.
