About & History:
Dinai is a very old Fallen, one that doesn't truly count her age in years, much like another Fallen sister, Gabrielle Samyaza. But she does remember her falling unlike many of her brethren. She did it by choice, not by temptation.
It is written in Angelic text somewhere that there was one Angel that saw the plight of her Fallen Brethren whom were not cursed to become demons and was angered. She began to research the 'madness' behind such a decision by The One and found that the Oldest of Laws were broken.
Being that she was the face of the "Law", where her name was derived from the Aramaic-Babylonian-Mesopotamian-Sumerian languages, she could not stand beside The One with such a cruel choice. She became at odds with The One's Temptor, Mastema. Though she cannot recall the 'face' of The One or of Mastema, she knows they exist. She also has been in hiding since that day, because of her decision.
The heart of Dinai was never one that was 'kind', it could be equated to the Egyptian Goddess Ma'at. She was one that sought justice and truth, and exacted the appropriate punishment. It is said that she brought forth a great many laws in numerous lawless lands, but she speaks not of her past, whether it be recently or distantly. She exists only to complete the mission that she has set for herself: To stop the Lawlessness of the World that will bring ruin to it.
Dinai comes across as cold or aloof. She never shows any emotion and probably would have done well to be a part of the Illimar, but that was not her fate, not was it her desire. Though she does not stand against her brethren, she does not agree with the task that had been handed them, seeing it as genocide, which would be against the code she subscribes.
Her last notable sighting was around the late 300s, early 400s. She made herself known to a man that text call Mani. She served to protect this prophet who believed and spoke words she had come to live by. His version of religion united the known religions of the world, but like her beliefs they were shunned and are only practiced by a handful of people around the globe.
She knows of the Marakai and now that it threatens to take over the Earth and corrupt it, she has wandered into more populated areas. She listens not only to the words spoken, but how they are spoken and to the minds who speak them. She has yet to act on anyone's behalf though, for she has not found a righteous group to protect.
When she walked away, she took on the form of a Persian/Babylonian female. She found this more conducive when she speaks her name, if she gives it. She has yet to be trifled with by either the demons or vampires that have taken over the area and are running it into ruin. But over the last 5 years since the Portal's opening, she has wandered from the lands and gone to seek out what was once the best side of those that populated the Earth: humans, vampires and lycanthropes alike. She is a master at camouflaging what she is. Not even her brethren have picked up on her presence, not even the ones that once knew her.
