It is a simple spell that most do not see ever needing, but it comes in handy when you need it the most. And in the Marakai, it is a very helpful spell to have at your disposal. The incantation is: bel'loush eve'aye. Summon the Swarm This spell is borderlining a 'power', for it is quite powerful. The spell-caster can summon a swarm of insects (locusts, bees, wasps, even millions of flies for a simple diversion) to aide him. The swarm will attack the person or object that is a threat to the caster, and can seriously wound them. But this is a difficult spell to learn. The caster must have some association with animals for it to be used effectively, and not backfire on the one who uses it. The incantation is: Dura'nahsheen orbansa Stop the Poison This spell can be the difference between life and death, allowing the caster to 'temporarily' stop poison from traveling more through the body of the poisoned, even himself. But it is only helpful to slow the poison down, it is not a permanent cure. Once the spell is cast, it will give the caster more time to find a permanent cure. The incantation is: berisheen dolfa The Truth Spell This spell allows the caster to force 'lesser beings' to tell the truth about any given circumstance. It does not work on beings that have even the slightest bit of mental power such as mind reading, hypnosis, telepathy, memory manipulation, or any other form of mental power. The Truth Spell is normally used on humans that have no special powers or abilities at all. The incantation is: ish'berith bera deen The Sickness This spell allows the caster to make another being feel as though she is deathly ill. It does not truly make her deathly ill, but she will feel and display a variety of symptoms: profuse sweating, aching bones and muscles, extreme high fever, vomiting, paleness, extreme weakness, etc. But the spell wears off when the caster is no longer in sight of the victim.
