-Vampires-

Vampires are some of the most well known creatures of myth today, and when it comes to playing them within our Role-Play, we follow the vampyric traditions set forth by Anne Rice. If one has read Anne Rice’s "The Vampire Chronicles", or even saw either the movie "Interview With a Vampire" or "Queen of the Damned", then one knows how Vampire’s are played here.

Vampires can only be killed in one of two ways. Either by the rays of the sun, or through consummation by fire. These are the only ways in which a vampire can die. Vampyric powers include telepathy, mind reading, mind control, supernatural speed and strength, and in some cases the ability of flight (despite no vampire having wings). A vampire gains the ability to fly only over a very long period of time, and this ability is controlled by the power of the vampires mind.

Here, vampyric role play is dominated by three families or bloodlines. These include the Malefic bloodline, the Dagonite bloodline, and the Abhorsen bloodline. (Please refer to the "Clans and Families" section for more information)
