A Fallen Angel expelled from the heavens because of his lust for the daughters of men, Chamuel was the sword hand of the heavens of above and one of the prominent generals in his time. One of the Fallen Angels who believe they ascend to the heavens once more, Sariel will stop at nothing to find the methods in reaching the heavens once again. Being reborn after his first death, Chamuel became Sariel Azaziah and was taken from his parents arms and home almost the moment he was born. He had been expected, the signs were right and there were only a few of whom he would become that needed protecting. He was born on the Shores of Brada, dangerously close to the Island of the Beasts. As a feminine male, Sariel is one of the most elegant Fallen Angels to have fallen. It was even speculated that Sariel was a woman instead of a male. Although when he was once upon the ranks of Angels, they say his name was written upon the shields of the forces of heaven, representing courage, self-control and tolerance. When the one they called Michael was the “Angel of Death” many speculated that Sariel would be next in line to carry the title. It was in his meeting with the Angel of Death, that Sariel met Arega Sandillires. Sariel held high respects for the woman, knowing that one day Arega and he would fight along side one another in the days to come. When the announcement came that the next “Angel of Death” would be Gabriel, Sariel grew weary and envious. His appointment of the title eventually did come, but not before he turned his attention onto the daughters of man, and was eventually expelled from the heavens. And as the world grew dark for him, and all else was failing, including his faith, he wandered the world endlessly to find a purpose for him. He found one upon the lands of Marakai where he once again met Arega Sandillires, who was currently at war with demons who opposed the mortals of earth. If Sariel was anything, he was a warrior and his lust for battle enlisted him alongside Arega. On numerous fronts, in war and on the sidelines of the armies he has fought for, Sariel has been called “Sariel, the Angel of Death.” His ominous yet, deeply committed acts of killing has earned him this name, and thus remarked as one of the deadliest Angels to have fallen from grace. But a time came, that Sariel and Arega had a falling out. They had opposing feelings towards their purpose on the earth. Arega felt the need to protect the mortals, while Sariel felt differently and his growing appetite for his sins to be forgiven grew unbearable. Sariel wanted to find a way to ascend to the heavens. Sariel cannot sit on one place like a few of the other Illimar. He knows that if he is going to regain favor in The One's eyes, that he will have to do it for himself, it iwll not just fall into his lap. He many times can be found not far from his Commander Gabriel Samyaza, but he is known for being on both sides of the Marakine portal. He has yet to seek the target of their past, but it is his belief that that should become secondary with the opening of the Marakai to those who didn ot have access before. Sariel's patience has worn thin with at least two of his brethren, Jehoel: the avid scholar and mediator, and Romanus: whom he believes knows where the holder of at least the Keys of Heaven has disappeared to. One day he believes Jehoel will be swayed to swing his sword again in defense of those they were meant to defend and that Romanus will give up the way back to Heaven that Jehoel has been studying not just one lifetime, but now two.
