She does not know and see all, but she knows and sees enough. The Oracle of Eshcaria, also known as ‘Eshcar’, was created from the ashes of an ancient Marakian city, burnt and devastated six thousand years ago. The city, ‘Eshcara Deen’ was a city of great power. The sorcerer, Bayloc and even the sorcerer before him, Mongoro Xazak Feleid of the Feleid Cabal, were born and raised in Eshcara Deen, and to this day, their powers combined still haunt the North Island where the Oracle resides.

Eshcar can see into the past and the future with impeccable accuracy, but sometimes she can see nothing at all. Her visions come and go against her will and her request of them, but when they do come, they give one a glimpse into their life, one that has two or more paths. Eshcar never tells a person exactly what they should do in any situation; she only reveals the paths and various outcomes within each one. She does not believe that any single future is pre-determined, but that all futures are met by the destiny in which each person creates for themselves. And all paths, even those that seem unflawed and that end in happiness, have their consequences and tribulations.

The Oracle’s readings are sometimes given verbally, but at times she privileges one with a vision. She can place her hands upon one’s head and project into their minds the very paths in which she herself sees. But all readings, all advice comes at a cost. To gain her vast knowledge, one must fulfill any one of her requests. It could be anything from reading or singing to her, to staying in her company for any amount of time. Eshcar is not evil, nor is she good. She is neutral and does not understand what it means to ‘take sides’, she is incapable…for now. But she is all alone on the island in which she cannot leave, for she is bound to it like breath is bound to a living being. The Oracle is immortal, as long as she stays on the North Island, but she is weak. Though she possesses such great clairvoyant powers, she has no other powers except for her ability to create a magical barrier around herself. This barrier will not allow anyone to pass that she does not give sanction, and those that force it, will be trapped within the barrier itself, and only the Oracle can release them. The only future that Eshcar cannot read is her own.

((The Oracle of Eshcaria is considered a ‘superior’ character, for the fact that the player can use all character profiles, and happenings within storylines, to the character’s advantage.))
