Jehoel Ammiel was once regarded as mediator of the ineffable name, and one of the princes of the presence. He was also considered ‘the angel who holds the Leviathan in check’, as well as chief of the order of seraphim. But Jehoel as an angel, was tempted by Mastema, the one who supposedly works for the One God by tempting mankind and serving as an executioner. It is said that this was how Jehoel fell and became among the ranks of Fallen Angel. But Jehoel is quite different from other Fallen Angels. On each of his fallen black wings, Jehoel has a single white feather. Other Fallen Angels see this as a sign, that there is still hope in repentance and that the path back into the heavens has not been permanently shut off to them. Like other Fallen Angels, Jehoel cannot remember his immaculate life as an angel. He does not recall this ‘God’ that he was once in the service of, but Jehoel does have dreams. And like most dreams, only pieces of his past are ever revealed at a time, but never solvable. But Jehoel believes strongly in his God, and exists now only to find his way back to the place he believes he belongs.

Jehoel’s two white feathers were what prompted the leader of the Illimar to recruit Jehoel Ammiel into it as one of the 13. Gabriel Samyaza trusts that Jehoel’s feathers will one day prove to be one of the missing pieces of the puzzle that is their ascension. But Jehoel found death, before he was able to help he and his brethren a way back into Heaven.

When Ammiel was reborn, he was born to his uncle and aunt in the Fallen Circle. His eyes came through once again and they named him after the one they though had died about a century before. Little did they know that Jehoel was reborn because of the curse set upon the Illimar during their deaths. His home was in Deshu's port city of Karakus. So close to the seat of evil power that would keep a strangle hold on the Marakai and would in the future find it's way to Earth. He has seldom left the city, only to train. His parents were called to continue their duties after his training.

Ammiel is an excellent swordsman, but as one will find, that is his last course of action. And it did not take much to make Jehoel understand that the Illimar’s cause is a true and just cause that not only seems logical, but destined to be. Jehoel believes that they were cast out for a reason other than falling from grace, but rather the Fallen Angel’s are all part of the One God’s plan. In the secret scriptures that the Illimar have possession of, it appears that many of the words are written in Hebrew code. Jehoel feels that in the code lies the answer to the One God’s plan. And this is what Jehoel does more than any other thing: he has spent years studying the code, never sleeping, hardly eating and only on occasion does he find time to break away from this obsessive research. Because of this, Jehoel was given the name, ‘the Fallen that never sleeps’, by the Illimar. Jehoel has not slept in two hundred years, and he may just stay awake until ascension or death takes him.

The other side of this blue-eyed prince is that he is one of the kindest Fallen Angels that any will ever come by. He will not fight unless he absolutely must, but always he attempts to diffuse battles by means of compromise. He is soft-spoken and cannot even find it in him to hate the likes of the cruelest demonic entities out there. He has taken up guard of the relic, 'The White Mirror'. The White Mirror was a gift given to him after a visit with the Oracle of Escharia, for his deep insight into the ways of things were, are and may become. It is a clairvoyant stone that can only be used by Fallen Angels. Jehoel has possession of the White Mirror currently, but he and the other Illimar that know he is alive, including Commander Samyaza, all take advantage of it when it is needed.
