-Fallen Angels-

Like in the beliefs in our real world, in TFW, Fallen Angels exist. However, you must be careful if you decide to take on one as a playable character. Since there are no truly ‘factual’ gods in TFW role-play, to make any variety of Fallen Angels truly factual will cause contradictions. For instance, you decide to play the most famous Fallen Angel of all, Lucifer. Players and characters alike, may instantly accept that in TFW, the ‘One God’ exists. Where such higher beings are concerned, in TFW, all gods and goddesses exist only in the beliefs of each individual character. They must never become truly factual. The truth of their existence must always be a mystery and nothing more.

So where Fallen Angels are concerned, you may play any one that you wish (except Mastema; though technically he is not a Fallen Angel). The most important rule to follow if playing a Fallen Angel is to never play it as knowing for a fact that the god he is associated with in real life beliefs, truly exists. He can never claim to actually have seen or spoken to a god, etc. Unless, of course, you choose to make him deceitful, or even ‘crazy’. Do whatever else you like with your storylines, but work around the forbidden the best you can.

Fallen Angels are equal in power and superiority as their enemies, the Archon demons. The Archons and the Fallen hate one another, and have been at war since the angels fell and the Archons were created as their eternal adversaries. Fallen Angels are the only known beings in the world (inside and out of the Marakian dimension) that cannot be converted to Archonism (Archonism – to serve the Archons of the Marakian dimension). They are truly a match for the Archons, but like the Archons, they tend to stay away from one another, knowing a battle could easily mean their death.

The truth about where Fallen Angels came from is a mystery even to them. But one part of their history is fact: while serving some sort of god, they rebelled and were cast out of their Imperial Army. No Fallen Angel has any recollection of the god(s) they served. Their memories were erased when they were cast out and punished.

Unlike 'angels', Fallen Angels can have sexual intercourse and produce offspring. Some say that the offspring of Fallen Angels are not technically Fallen Angels and that only those cast out of the Imperial Armies are true Fallen Angels. However, they are categorized as Fallen Angels because they are of those who were cast out.

Fallen Angels are absolutely beautiful (those that are full-blooded). Even those that appear rugged, scarred and dirty all have an attractive exquisiteness about them. They have large feathered wings, usually black, blue-black or dark purple in color, in which they can hide easily when they choose.

Fallen Angels possess the abilities of summoning, memory manipulation, supernatural strength, flight and telepathy.
