An Urandrum, an Ancient Demon of
the Underworld, Elarka Alaelonna is the wife to King Xuchilbara Ophiel.
Though not truly Queen, she is often called “The White Queen,” all that known
her will quickly realize that the allegory concerning ‘white’ has nothing to
relate to the pureness in her – hence there is none. She is a seductress
and an empathic source-stealer, sensing and sampling emotions through kisses.
Elarka does not necessarily dwell on the superpowers of her race, but she
exploits the victim of her kisses sense of emotion; whether its pity, compassion
or hate. Because she has not experienced any human experiences for herself, not
even love with her husband, she samples these emotions through her victims to
understand the pathetic emotions of humans. Some believe that experiencing these
emotions will one day be her downfall, and ultimately make her no better than
the blasphemers of the Urandrum kind.
Being a personification of heart and mind, Elarka uses both to inflict the
dearest pain on her victims. There have been numerous accounts that Elarka has
focused the thoughts of her victims’ most dearest lover and tried to keep that
feeling for herself, or to even experience it further. In a few accounts of
Elarka’s unwilling victims, she has used her gift Umbrakinesis, to manipulate
shadows and eventually rape her victims sexually to gain a greater insight of
the pleasure with its equivalent; love. Although she is bored with her
purpose at her husband’s side, she has no interest in betraying him or even
leaving him. Much like he has done, she has cheated on him. Their marriage is
simply for the affairs of state. The only thing that has kept her around
is the fact she is the wife of a King, and he’s her unsurpassed lover.
Among the other powers she acquires is Possession and wallcrawling, along with
the genetic powers of an Urandrum. Others agree that her most powerful
power is the art of seduction. Her psychological mastery of this power is
far greater than anyone else, and it is not often that she is turned down from
any encounter. Her gift is reading people’s motivation, their connection to
desire and temptation. She desires to kiss of a Urandrum woman whom has
fallen so completely in love that it would stray them from their ways and make
her break the only Law the Urandrum have, thus she would understand what sort of
love could allow her heart to defile the Urandrum. Such an emotion must be
godly. And Elarka yearns to understand the emotion…
