-Beliran Demons-The Beliran demons are ‘the punished’. They were once humans, who after death in the material world, could not pass into the Realm of Light and were sentenced to the Marakai. They may have been evil in their human life, or they may have become lost or tormented souls. While in the Marakian dimension, these people were defiant and refused to convert to Archonism (Archonism – to serve the Archons of the Marakian dimension). Beliran demons are male and female, young and old. They have a demon form, as well as a human form. Their human form is the form in which they had when they were living, breathing humans. Their demon form is that of their human likeness, but their flesh is grayish-blue and they have large black horns that curve inward toward their faces. Their demon form is their punishment. While in demon form, the Beliran are blind; their eyes are white. They take on their human form whenever they can, but this is a most grueling task to carry out, and to maintain. A Beliran cannot hold his or her human form for longer than an hour at most. It changes against their will and control. While attempting to transform into human form, each time, they move closer to losing another one of their senses. Some Beliran are also deaf, or cannot smell or taste food in their mouths. Some have even lost the feeling of sexual pleasure, and those that have lived longer than others and transformed many times in their lifetime, eventually lose even their emotions. Beliran demons are considered ‘immortal’. Their immortality is also a form of their punishment. Only the Archons of the Marakai can bring them peace by giving them death. It is believed though, that if the particular Archon that punished a particular Beliran is ever killed, that that Beliran demon becomes human again, no longer bound by the Archon and his curse. © Copyright 2006 - 2009 J.A.
