If you have found the Book of Bayloc in the Underground World of the IV Marakian Beasts, you inherit a single power of your choosing from the 'Spells' or 'Powers' links above.

Bayloc is a neutral sorcerer, neither bound by the darkness, or the light. He struggles with his inability to choose sides, for the conflict within him he often portrays while in the presence of others. Bayloc cannot allow those of the Marakai to know of this conflict, or he will be swallowed into the Belly of the Beasts. Those of the Light cannot believe he can be swayed, or their knowledge is likely to serve him the same fate. The sorcerer is the greatest in both worlds. No man or woman can defeat him, but then none are insane enough to want him dead. The one who kills Bayloc, also kills himself. It is the way of things.

He never leaves this island in the underground world, for this is part of his curse. So as revenge for keeping him in such a dreadful place, he gives to those of the outside world, knowledge and power. He hopes that one day someone can repay the favor by finding a way to release him from this makeshift Hell he has been forced into by the Urandrum demons.

If you (your character) has been granted a glimpse inside the book, you may tell whomever you please, but choose wisely whom you decide to divulge such dangerous knowledge. Word spreads all too quickly, and if it becomes public to the wrong ears, you will be hunted by the Urandrum until you have been eliminated. Bayloc must maintain this secrecy and the Urandrum do not yet know that Bayloc is so 'giving' of his powers.

((Do not cheat by bringing ALL of your characters to this location so they can have powers, etc. You may role-play with your character (the one that found the book by means of a storyline) with other characters and THEY may divulge such information IN CHARACTER, but be careful! When the administrators sense an overload of characters suddenly gaining new powers from this book, the link to the book will be removed and made more difficult to find.))
