-The Twelve Archonic Tribes-

In the Marakai today, there are only twelve running tribes of the Archonic race. Each tribe is, of course, different in their own ways, but most are similar in the way of maintaining their sovereignty within the Marakian Dimension. They are the strongest and most influential among all demon races, and bear the greatest significance to all races of the Marakai, as a whole. This is not to say that an Archon is always more powerful than another being, or that their tribes and bodies of royalty and high rank can defeat any known empire. It simply means that the Archons hold more power and stature over any other, other than the ‘Imperials’ and the Marakian Empire leadership. The Archons actually govern the Marakai, directly under the rule of the Marakian Empresses. They are those who ‘make’ other demons, by converting humans to Archonism. They make the ‘Beliran’, the ‘Uru’ and the ‘Toran’ demons, all except those who were born to such a demon race. But the Archons were those who were given the power, when life was created in the world, to create other demon races. In short: they are their Makers.

Most Archons—those still devoted to upholding their law and purpose—live and breathe the Marakian Dimension, and will stop at nothing to keep order within it, and its power within their grasp.

Archonic tribes have been in existence for generations. Tribes come and go, most die out after thousands of years, and only some destroy themselves due to differences and conflicts that eventually lead to obliteration of a tribe. Because when Archons cannot agree with one another, for whatever reasons, it usually ends up in a war. Archons have never been known to back down when their strong beliefs are being threatened. Five thousand years ago, there were one hundred and eighty Archonic tribes in existence all at the same time. But that was an era when tribe leaders were at their strongest. When King Vikit-aeon was killed, the strong tribes began to fall apart. There was always an Archon King—one over all Archons and their tribes—until the death of Vikit-aeon. After he was assassinated, the following years would prove to be ever changing. One hundred years would go by before another Archon King would take the throne, but the only King to last in his ruler ship for more than three hundred years before a dethrone, was King Meltuho-nyne. Meltuho-nye is still remembered today as being one of the most recognized and notorious Archonic Kings, since King Vikit-aeon.

Most Archonic tribes have their own leader—with the exception of one tribe—though not all of them are called ‘Leaders’, but rather ‘Monarchs’, ‘Patriarchs’ or ‘Sovereigns’. The titles depend on each individual tribe, and vary greatly throughout the existing twelve. The twelve tribes listed below, detail each tribe in the way of its leadership, purpose, alignment and ancestry. Each is listed from eldest, to newest.

The Itziar Tribe

Leadership: The Itziar is the oldest, but least populated tribe in the Archonic Circle. It is led by ‘Sovereign Obria-ein’, a three thousand-year-old Archon. There are now less than twelve Archons left in the Itziar, but they have proven their strength and power to be no less than some of the largest tribes of the twelve
Purpose: Being the oldest, and having some of the oldest living Archons in its ranks, the Itziar’s self-proclaimed purpose is to destroy all other Archons who have strayed from the ways of their Archon blood. The Itziar believe that only full-blooded Archons should rule and that all Archons should persevere in the Ancient Archonic Laws.
Alignment: They are fully loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws
Ancestry: All members of the Itziar are direct descendents of the deceased king, King Vikit-aeon. Vikit-aeon is Sovereign Obria-ein’s father’s father (grandfather).

The Tajul Tribe

Leadership: The Tajul is led by ‘Sovereign Itkus-doun’, a traitor to the Itziar tribe. Itkus-doun is one of forty brothers of Sovereign Obria-ein, and the only Archon from the Itziar to betray them. Itkus-doun was power-hungry and wanted a tribe of his own, thus he created one.
Purpose: The Tajul want Kingship over all Archons; tribes and rebels both.
Alignment: Despite the treachery of Itkus-doun, the Tajul are fully loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws.
Ancestry: King Vikit-aeon is Sovereign Itkus-doun’s father’s father (grandfather). Most of the Tajul Tribe is from various bloodlines of Ancestry.

The Azbi Tribe

Leadership: The Azbi is led by a female Archon, ‘Monarch Aveksepa’. Avekepa is known to have bore more offspring than any other living Archon to-date. She has more than six thousand children, in which makes up much of the Azbi Tribe.
Purpose: The Azbi want female Archons to rule. In history, there have been approximately twelve Archon Queens that ruled alone, and not alongside a King.
Alignment: The Azbi are only partially loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws. Where they stray from them is where female Archons are referred to as lesser than the males.
Ancestry: Ninety percent of the Azbi tzribe are children of Monarch Aveksepa, and Aveksepa is a descendant of the twelfth Archon King, King Bara-ite, who only ruled for sixty-years before he was assassinated.

The Sygrius Tribe

Leadership: The Sygrius is led by ‘Patriarch Basteteen-eit’, one the most disreputable Archons demons alive today.
Purpose: The Sygrius make every effort to convert all beings to their dishonorable ways. They pillage, rape, murder and destroy any who oppose them.
Alignment: The Sygrius are entirely against the Ancient Archonic Laws, so much so that Patriarch Basteteen-eit created his own book of laws, six hundred years ago. Ancestry: The Sygrius Tribe has no famous lines of ancestry, at least none that have been proven.

The Demeri Tribe

Leadership: The Demeri are led by ‘Sovereign Klavodian-dayne’, known to the Archonic world as ‘Prince of the Archonic Circle’. Klavodian-dayne was born on the same day, at the same time that King Vikit-aeon died. Many Archons believe that Klavodian-dayne is the reincarnation of Vikit-aeon, and this alone makes him one of the most respected of all Archon demons. He is older than even Sovereign Obria-ein of the Itziar Tribe.
Purpose: The Demeri Tribe has the same purpose as the Itziar Tribe: to destroy all other Archons who have strayed from the ways of their Archon blood. The Demeri believe that only full-blooded Archons should rule and that all Archons should persevere in the Ancient Archonic Laws.
Alignment: They are fully loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws
Ancestry: Klavodian-dayne is a descendant of the Archon Queen, Queen Ayla, who ruled two hundred years before King Vikit-aeon.

The Klazanus Tribe

Leadership: The Klazanus are led by ‘Sovereign Rayne-douth’, a fairly young Archon only two hundred years old. Rayne-douth took the lead of the Klazanus after he killed the former leader of six hundreds years, Sovereign Afra-han.
Purpose: The Klazanus are those who loathe the Marakian Empire, and have always. Their purpose in this world is to put power in the hands of the Archons, rather than the Archons being under the heels of the Marakian Empire. The Kalzanus wish for nothing more than for an Archon to be Emperor.
Alignment: The Klazanus are loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws, to a degree. They follow all laws, but behind the scenes, the one they secretly plot to break is the dethroning of the Marakian Empire while led by beings that are not of the Archonic race.
Ancestry: The ancestry of the Klazanus is not wise to display outside the tribe. Most of them are descendants of traitors who were put to death for their treachery within the Archonic Circle. Sovereign Rayne-douth is the ninth son of the notorious, Meeshka. Meeshka was the wife of a former Archon king, King Radin-fane. She murdered Radin-fane after falling in love with a Nephilim demon.

The Cohra Tribe

Leadership: This tribe is not led by a single ruler, but rather it works much like a senate. All Cohra tribe members have equal power within the tribe, and so far, it has worked quite well for them.
Purpose: The Cohra strive for peace among other Archonic tribes. They believe that the wars and conflict will eventually be the fall of all Archonic stature within the Marakai.
Alignment: The Cohra follow all Archonic laws, but they do it in a way that allows them to be more liberal. Sometimes they come close to breaking certain laws, but only ever borderline it.
Ancestry: It is unknown as to the Cohra’s line of ancestry.

The Raes Tribe

Leadership: The Raes is led by ‘Monarch Effelia’, an Archon demoness that was cursed by the sorcerer, Bayloc. Effelia cannot convert humans to Archonism and she cannot bear offspring unless it is the offspring of Bayloc himself. And yes, she has given him four children, before he was exiled to the Island of Bayloc by the IV Marakian Beasts.
Purpose: The Reas Tribe have no real grand purpose at all. They simply exist.
Alignment: The Raes are not fully loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws. Sometimes they abide by them, sometimes they do not.
Ancestry: Monarch Effelia was the last daughter of King Sinet-ri, the Archon King known mostly for his abnormal features. Sinet-ri was the shortest Archon in history and had only one horn.

The Zafeera Tribe

Leadership: The Zafeera Tribe is led by ‘Sovereign Jaiven-ayne’, a young a crooked Archon demon that is famous for killing the last Empress of the Marakai, Empress Samora Viancikara. To this day, Jaiven-ayne is hunted by other loyal Archon tribes, but he has proven difficult to find.
Purpose: The only purpose of this tribe is to help protect their leader, Jaiven-ayne from certain death. But the Zafeera is slowly falling apart. Some have already left, fearing for their own lives they risk by protecting Jaiven-ayne.
Alignment: The Zafeera are loyal to no one, certainly no set of laws.
Ancestry: No notable lines of ancestry have been discovered thus far.

The Siezdath Tribe

Leadership: The Siezdath are led by ‘Sovereign Thanatos-rei’. An Archon demon established as being the one who has converted more Uru and Toran demons in five years, than any other Archon has in his or her lifetime. Thanatos-rei converted twelve thousand in only five years time, and he is still counting.
Purpose: The Siezdath have one prime purpose: convert all humans to Archonism.
Alignment: They are entirely loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws.
Ancestry: Though Sovereign Thanatos-rei has no significant line of descent, his first consort of six, Maylaeen, is the first daughter of former Archon King, King Meltuho-nyne. She is generations old, but is still as beautiful as she was in her prime.

The Silus Tribe

Leadership: The Silus Tribe is led by ‘Patriarch Yekov-olit’, one of the most powerful and ruthless Archons in existence.
Purpose: It is the proud duty of the Silus Tribe to spend their long lives protecting whatever ruler that takes the Marakian throne. Many assassins of the Marakian Empire come from this tribe that has only been around for two hundred years.
Alignment: Entirely loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws.
Ancestry: It is said that two of this tribes members, who are brothers: Talesh-oun and Tamohar-ivin, are the half-brothers of Empress Perseis Castalia of the Marakian Empire, but the truth has yet to be revealed. No notable lines of descent have been discovered.

The Laboria Tribe

Leadership: The Laboria are the newest formed in the Archonic Circle, but they are also the shunned. They are led by ‘Sovereign Larze-deen’, who formed the tribe as a safe haven for other Archons like himself: wingless and hornless.
Purpose: Since the Laboria are outcasts to other Archons, they have become a rebellion. They Laboria were all born ‘deformed’, per se, having all Archon qualities except for those that truly define an Archon demon. None know why they were born this way, but to other Archons, they are an abomination. The purpose of the Laboria Tribe is simply to survive.
Alignment: They are loyal to the Ancient Archonic Laws, but they receive no respect from other Archons for their loyalty.
Ancestry: No notable lines of descent have been discovered.
