-The Ancient Archonic Laws-
The book of Archonic laws is hidden somewhere in the Land of Brada, the land that has seen more Archon wars and leaders than any of the four. It was in Brada that Archons lived for three thousand years before spreading out in their new tribes and taking up residence in other Marakian Lands. The Black Tower of Brada was built by Archon demons, for Archon demons, which is why the tower is so vast and enormous compared to even the Fortress of Deshu.
The book of laws is kept safe by a powerful demon race that is unknown to all but few. But one does not need the book to read the laws, for the laws have been copied by hand, whether on parchment, or carved in stone, many times over, in many different languages. The laws are as follows:
I - We succumb to our Archonic leader in life and in death. To defy a king is to forfeit our blood. But to kill a king to become a king is a great tribute.
II - We assist the Empire of the Marakai with fidelity, strength, honor and servitude.
III - We allow not an Archon Queen, save for a time when no King can be chosen.
IV - We are the Makers of the lesser. It is our duty to convert, dominate and control. An Archon that has lived for even one generation without a single conversion, shall be put to death.
V - We fall to our knees in the presence of an Imperial, for the Imperials are our life and death, strength and weakness, existence and extermination.
VI - We do not touch the feathers of the Fallen, for to mingle our seed with the enemy, is to become an enemy.
VII - We worship Marakai in this life and the next. A sacrifice of defiant blood we must make at the turn of every moon.
VIII - We do not show affection for beings not of our race, for to fall in love with a lesser, is to become a lesser, and so we shall be shunned.
IX - We accept death as if it were life. No Archon soul shall ever pass the Triatiaty, if fear inhabited it at the time of our final departure.
X - We teach not the Archonic language to a being not of direct Archonic blood.
XI - We kill the Marakine demons in service of their mother’s and father’s, not in service of ourselves.
XII - We do not form alliances with Earthly beings.
XIII - We never enter into union with a mate until after she has bore two of our offspring.
XIV - We live the Marakai, we die the Marakai, we protect and give strength to the Marakai. We are forever bound to the Marakian Dimension, for it is where we hail.
The Ancient Archonic Laws were originally written in the Archonic language and were stated quite different from how they are written here.
