Full Name Agonee Malefice Race Fallen Angel Relations Amon Malefice - Mother Memnoch - Father Spitti - Aunt Dispair & FaithHope - Sisters Desyte Malefice - Twin Brother Aiden Malefice - Brother Gulthjan Malefice - Half-Brother History Agonee is the first born son to Amon Malefice and Memnoch, though his conception and birth remained a great mystery to all the parties involved, except Memnoch. The story that both Amon, Agonee, and the rest of the world knew is told as follows: Agonee was born to Amon and Memnoch, the heir to the throne of Sheoul. Once Amon learned that she was pregnant she grew fearful. Despite their relations, Amon did not trust Memnoch, nor did she accept his ways. Amon was afraid that he would become as bad, if not worse then his father. Due to the child being of Malefice blood, the child would require a demon to keep the blood in line, as all Malefice needed. The combination of this demon, the Malefice blood, and Memnoch’s seed on top of this was more than enough reason for Amon to be fearful of what was growing inside her. She was convinced that she had to get rid of the child before it was born, somehow.
One night Amon was visited by the Arch Angel Gabriel, he convinced Amon to have the child and to let him have it once he was born and in return Gabriel would make Amon an angel. Gabriel had hoped that by having the child in their hands, in the hands of “good”, that they would be able to squelch any natural instincts that were reminiscent of Memnoch and the Sheoulian Realm. The child was born, Memnoch put the required demon in the boy, naming him Agonee. Shortly after Agonee was born Amon fled Sheoul and went to Rome, where she then handed Agonee over. Gabriel kept his promise, giving Amon angelic wings and the immortality that comes with them. Agonee was given to the Vatican where it was hoped he would develop a conscience and learn the ways of the "light". Memnoch quickly learned of Amon's betrayal and was outraged. As a way to get back at her he began to merge their souls so that she would never be able to betray him again. Due to the fact that Amon had another child in Sheoul, Desolation, an adoptive child of hers and Memnochs, she stayed in Sheoul. This caused Amon to end up becoming a Fallen Angel due to the fact that she gave herself to Memnoch. Despite giving Agonee away however, Amon would still manage to sneak away from Sheoul to come and visit Agonee when he was young, singing him lullabies to calm him. At an early age Agonee began to show the signs of having the Malefice demon and was beat daily by the fathers and the nuns hoping to chase out the demon. Amon began to be overrun by guilt and left Agonee never to return. Days and years went by and Agonee was beat for the voice of his demon that he would hear. However he dealt with the beatings, accepting them, still never knowing what he was or what he would become. As Agonee got older he did indeed develop a conscience, as well as learn everything that was to be taught to him. Agonee learned right from wrong, truth from lies, as well as love and hate. Agonee did not realize however that all he was learning was the church fathers and nuns wished him to believe. Agonee knew that he was not “normal”, however he did not know that he was inhuman. One day, after a particularly harsh beating, Agonee began to hear the voice of his demon once again. Yet, instead of taking his beating, he escaped and fled the church, as well as Rome, with the help of a girl named Ciara. Ciara was a mortal who grew up in Rome, regularly attending church as a good Christian would. It was through these daily rituals of Christianity that Ciara noticed the youth who always was placed in the back pews by the fathers, as if he were a sort of slave. She took an interest in Agonee, and soon Ciara became a friend, his only friend really. Agonee was only permitted to speak with Ciara during masses, as the fathers and nuns had Agonee kept locked away most of the time in an effort to suppress the demon. It was during a mass that the demon began to act up again, and Ciara was not about to see Agonee be beaten yet again for something he could not control. It was during the mass that Ciara and Agonee stole away, Agonee never looking back to the church again. Knowing and sensing he had family out there somewhere he left Ciara and Rome in search of his mother and family. Agonee was not sure why, but he felt that he somehow knew where to go. So he followed his instincts. Agonee quickly found his way to Paris where he was reunited with his mother and his sisters, FaithHope and Dispair, who had recently fallen from grace. FaithHope and Dispair, like Agonee, had been stolen away from Memnoch and Amon shortly after their birth. However, instead of being taken to the church, they were taken directly to the Elysian Fields, where they were raised as angelic beings. Yet, following their own instincts and the calls of their demons, FaithHope and Dispair soon fell from grace to find their family. With Agonee and his sisters now reunited, this meant their demons where also. Their demons together were very strong and very power hungry and soon they all found it hard to control their demons when around each other. It seemed their demons would irritate each other just to get a rise out of one another. One day, during one of Agonee's episodes of lashing out, he revealed to his mother about the demons and told her that she had one as well. Amon did not know everything about her own bloodline, the Malefice. Memnoch had told her that their children would require a demon to keep the Malefice blood in line, but she thought it was more due to Memnoch’s seed. Amon certainly did not believe anything about she herself having a demon within her. So, as an attempt to make her lose control and let the demon free, at least for a moment, he forced upon her all his memories of him growing up, sending her all of the pain he endured as a child. She did lose control and upon her demon being released she almost killed Agonee. In a attempt to revive him she flooded him with her own memories, some of which even she did not know. This exchange resulted in making it to where she could not even touch him with out sending him the memories and the pain of her past which she could not remember. With Agonee's return, Memnochs pride in his son also arrived. Memnoch had his heir back, and was sure to always be watching his son in one way or another. However, Memnoch’s seeming happiness soon vanished once he realized how in touch with his emotions Agonee was, and how much he acted like a mortal. Memnoch began to resent his son and push him, trying to make him become less emotional and more uncaring. However this only resulted in Agonee despising his father, and growing closer to his mother whom he felt sympathetic for. After all, she had to deal with Memnoch more than he did. One day a women came into the Inn whom Agonee immediately recognized as Ciara, who he had thought he would never see again. He asked her to stay and asked her to marry him. He knew she was mortal and that she wished to be that way and he accepted that. She agreed to marry him but soon she would leave him once she found out that he was currently involved with another woman named Allysia Morgan, whom just happened to be pregnant, though they didn't notice. However, soon his mother was able to sense it and revealed that Agonee had impregnated Ally with twins. He told Ciara who of course was angry and left him. Out of guilt he stayed with Ally and asked her to marry him. Allysia accepted and soon gave birth to a boy named Ramirez and a girl named Cassandra. Agonee went on with his life with Ally, never being really happy with his relationship with her. It was not something he had initially wanted, and he could not help but feel guilty for putting on false pretenses. However, his problems would soon be solved, though not in a truly beneficial way. It was not long after his marriage to Allysia that Agonee was paid a visit by a woman named Leluminai. Unknown to Agonee, Leluminai was what was known as a tantric witch. By using powers of seduction and sex, tantric witches are able to manipulate the mind of their victim, being able to make them do what the witch wants. Leluminai was actually a tantric with for hire, and was sent to deal with Agonee. Being young, naive and raised by mortals Ag had no idea how dangerous she was. Soon she had accomplished in erasing his memory of Ally and his children, then she herself disappeared. Agonee had no idea he had two children and Ally, distraught with grief, killed herself. Left with no parents at all, Agonee’s son, Ramirez, went to Sheoul with Memnoch. However, before they had a chance to care for the girl, his daughter disappeared. Agonee lived for some time with no recollection of his former family. The only family that mattered was the one he remembered. As before, Agonee was particularly close to his mother and helped her in any way he could while she went through her changes, emotionally and physically. However, soon, it was Agonee that was feeling himself changing emotionally, and soon physically. Agonee was having vivid nightmares of a crucifixion and would awake in a cold sweat. He would have mood swings, where he would lash out violently at anyone. Soon he took to keeping to himself, wandering about solitarily. It was these mood swings and nightmares, which Memnoch knew about, that started to make Agonee’s father worrisome. It would be soon that the truth about Agonee would come out, a truth that Memnoch had tried to hide. This truth of who Agonee, or what Agonee was, finally came out one day within the residence of his mother’s, the Cathedrale of Vampires. He had found himself wandering about the corridors, the feeling of something coming, as if something was almost chasing him. It was then that he ran into Dizzy, a close friend of his from a neighboring land. She had come to visit him, and found him at the most inopportune moment the girl could of chosen. Agonee found his way with Dizzy into a smaller chapel within the Cathedral, a room which had been forbidden to all Malefice by Memnoch, yet today was conveniently open. Within the room, Agonee succumbed to the visions that he thought were only a dream.
The vision of the crucifixion that was so vivid in Agonee’s sleeping mind was now playing out before Dizzy, though it was as real as it could be. Dizzy watched as invisible nails were pounded into the flesh of Agonee’s feet and wrists, completely helpless to the situation. When Memnoch finally appeared in the room, it appeared as if he knew exactly what was happening, and did nothing to stop it. There was a burst of light where all were blinded, but when the light faded, it wasn’t just Dizzy, Memnoch and Agonee in the room. There was another being in the room, standing where Agonee had previously been experiencing the stigmata, Ag’s limp body strewn on the floor behind the man. The man who had appeared before them resembled Memnoch greatly, as if he could be Memnoch’s sibling. However, the truth was that the man wasn’t Memnoch’s sibling, but Agonee’s sibling. It was here that the truth of Agonee’s existence was realized, at least after some understanding. At Agonee’s conception, it wasn’t one child that was conceived, but two. Memnoch, fearful of the heir of the throne being more powerful than himself attempted to kill the older sibling. However, the spell backfired, and instead of killing the older sibling it merged both siblings into one body. The “demon” that was within Agonee was not really a demon, but the older sibling that was trapped within the body of Agonee. It was this older sibling, Desyte, that Memnoch truly feared. Now with Desyte’s release, Memnoch sees that his own time was drawing to a close. Desyte escaped and nothing could be done by Memnoch to rectify the situation. Memnoch took the limp body of Agonee in his arms, feelings of guilt swelling within him. He had done nothing but tried to help Agonee remain in control over Desyte, to not experience emotions that would allow Desyte to grow in strength, such as hatred or anger. Yet, it was still to no avail. Memnoch took Agonee back to Sheoul, Dizzy going along due to genuine concern for Ag’s well being after all that she had seen. There was no chance for Memnoch to heal his son, as the stigmata was not something that can be healed, only dealt with. It was a slow process for Agonee to regain some strength, and even when he had regained a little bit of strength he could still barely sit up. Dizzy remained with him the entire duration of his recuperation. When Agonee finally came to enough for coherence, he realized that Dizzy was there and was quick to tell her to leave, as Sheoul “was no place for a mortal”. Dizzy refused, stating that she would stay with him until he was healthy once again and asking if there was anything she could do to help him. It was then that Agonee took of Dizzy’s blood at her consent, the vampyric side of Agonee regaining the nutrients and blood that it so desperately needed. As a result Agonee had to embrace Dizzy, taking away her mortality forever.
After that Agonee was healthier once again and was able to leave Sheoul. He should have aided Dizzy in her transformation and all that goes along with being a new fledgling, but the guilt was too much that he could not bring himself to do it. Agonee all but abandoned her, though he thought somewhere in his mind that it was for the best. Since then, Agonee has been rarely seen. The last to lay eyes on him was Dizzy herself, when he came to her to tell her that one of her daughters was in trouble. To this day no one knows what happened to him, his whereabouts, nor his health or situation.
“The burning pain of guilt. The ice in his veins. FUCK UP! He was almost in a daze. He wasn't sure which way was up or down at the moment. Just had to get away. Find silence. Get away from the voices. FUCK UP! BASTARD! YOU HURT EVERYONE YOU TOUCH! Look at you Aggy, poor little Aggy. Cheat on the women that love you. Get them killed. Get your parents into trouble. You even took Dizzy's mortality from her. ‘Aggy the asshole!’ Chanting in his head he gripped his hair for a moment screaming inside himself STOP IT!” -Agonee Malefice
