“I long to see his face… the man of
my dreams. He seems so vaguely familiar to me. Like a priest to the clergy. I am
the adolescent, and he is the adult. He’s the cord, and I am the violin. He
plays me, and he understand every single note that coexists with my existence.
The man could be my lover. But then again, the man could very well be my
father…”
- Zoe Noemie Le Chiffre
Born as Zoe Noemie Le Chiffre, in what is present day France, Zoe has lived a
tragic life. As the daughter of a wealthy politician named Raphaël Lothaire Le
Chiffre (present day Lysander Serafim Meridius) during her younger years she
lived a life of wealth and prosperity. As a politician’s daughter she traveled
vastly across the globe, seeing lands that someone her age could only dream of
seeing. And with this travels she saw many other unnatural things her age should
not have seen. One late night her father Raphaël had came home and found her in
his work study, he told her one of his secrets. He told her that he had become a
prowler of the night. A Vampire.
While this did not make much difference to her at the time, it would in the
future. She still loved her father dearly. Although she didn’t see him during
the day, she shifted her chores so that she could complete them at night while
also staying up with her father while he lived under the moonlight. When Rome
began to intrigue him greatly so much that he would rather be in home instead,
her loathing for Rome began. Rome took her father away from her, and she began
to despise the land that held her father’s sway. For months at a time, Raphaël
would be gone. And he would return again as a changed man, seeing much of the
world through the dark and tempting eyes of a Vampire instead of mortality. At
least it is what Zoe thought.
It was inevitable for Zoe not to be caught in the war between the Authurians and
the Marileus. It was a worldwide battle between the Vampire heritage, and the
Authurians nature to conquer was going to put the bloodthirsty vampires on her
doorstep. She saw the Authurians murder and decimate her entire family. To hide
away in safety, she locked herself into her father’s hidden study, where she
knew only he could find her. And upon his return he found her exactly where she
had he would. Although sad of the loss of his wife and son, he was proud to see
that someone of his family still alive. Although fatally wounded, Raphael had
one choice to keep his daughter alive and that was to turn her into a vampire.
He did so, and Zoe upon that day became the undead. Zoe wanted to follow her
father with him to Rome, where she could stay with him and be safe. He obliged
and took her with him.
In Rome she grew in spirit but not in body, and somewhat became furious that her
stature would never become that of a woman’s. But she loved her father, that was
sufficed enough for her to keep content. One day when her father was absent, the
Authurians found the young petite vampire and thought of her as blasphemy to
their code. And murdered her on sight. What came next was a dark channel filled
with temptations and enticements. The man giving these temptations and
enticements were Loki Archimbald. She was later influenced to choose to life
again to see her father once more. But Loki had better plans for her, he waited
allowing her body to grow into a seductive young woman, and manipulating her
memories not to know her father as she well endowed. Loki influenced her
memories to believe that her father may have been a lover, or the parent she
always need. Loki knew it would always be up to Zoe to figure out the rest. He
allowed her to be reborn as an Immortal Forsaken and returned her to earth,
giving her the chance to see the man she loved… but what purpose… or what
attachment… no one knows. |
