Sidonia Constanzie is a Reborn Human. She was born in Wales (Cambria), England in 652 during the time when most of England was under Saxon control. At the age of fifteen, Sidonia was taken from her family by the Saxons and used as a slave, but this band of Saxons was of the most cruel kind. Sidonia was often raped, beaten and forced to partake in executions of rebel prisoners of the Saxon army, by cutting the throats of women and children. Never would she have taken the life of a child, but the threats chipped away her morals and her will. She hated the Saxons with all hate in her, and later, at twenty, Sidonia used every bit of that hate to murder Jakaine Barstaw II, leader of the band that held her captive for so long. Jakaine was a ruthless man that—to the belief of many—killed his wife and daughter after hearing rumors that his wife was unfaithful. It was evident to Sidonia that this murderer was a misogynist, and Sidonia had become the one he would most take out his twisted personality on. While tending to his wine, as she normally did, she poisoned him and slipped out of their camp early morning before dawn. She was free of her captors, but not free from the fate that awaited her.
Sidonia fled to Carmarthen, Wales where she began the study of magic and healing by Dark Druids that befriended her, but she did not stay with them long. She set out to find her family only to hear that her father was killed by her mother, who had gone mad and her brother disappeared. Some said that her brother, Amaron, set out to start a new life somewhere in Egypt.
For two years, Sidonia remained in Wales. She married and had a daughter that had a striking resemblance to Sidonia with the same beautiful piercing eyes and long, flowing dark hair. But the child at the age of three got what they called the ‘mind disease’…just like Sidonia’s mother. Little Fiona spent months clawing at her skin, pulling out her hair and rocking back and forth against a wall that she would never leave. On a trip to find help for her daughter, Sidonia was murdered by thieves, and one of them she recognized. It is likely why they put her to death, rather than taking what possessions she had, and leaving her be. The leader of the thieves was none other than her brother, Amaron.
Sidonia Constanzie was sent to the Marakai,
and like many who end up there, she had no memory of her previous life. She found her place in the
Land of Airis-Ivis, but not even in the Marakian Dimension could she escape the darkest memories of her life
that came to her in flashes. Enough had returned to know that if Jakaine Barstaw II found Sidonia,
she would once again end up under his control. But it was when the Marakian Dimension was opened into the living world, that she would escape his clutches a second time. She fled the Marakai and has not seen Jakaine since. But she knows he hunts her. He vowed to always control her, even from afar, and in a huge way, he does just that. Though Sidonia fears little and is strong—physically and mentally—in her own right, she knows that one day Jakaine may find her.
Now, the fear of Jakaine coming for her or sending someone else after her, keeps her to herself. Sidonia trusts no one, nor does she put faith in anyone. There’s nothing good about looking over your shoulder. Leading a life like this for years can do something to a person. However, it isn’t as though Sidonia has sat back crouched down in a corner hiding. No, once again, that isn’t her style. She has prepared herself mentally and physically for the confrontation that she knows is approaching. It’s just a matter of time now, and we all know that time can either work for you, or against you.
