Maeve Akil was reborn, not created, into the world about 400 years ago as a Urandrum demoness. Connected to the Beast she protects and reborn because her past life became so heinous in death, the Beast was most certain she would not fall prey to human emotions as her predecessor had. Taken under the wings of the two Elder Urandrum males she was first tossed into the fray with, Maeve was trained brutally to keep herself masked even to the Archons they wanted her to infiltrate. Only knowing her lifetime in the Marakian Dimension and with her training, she was set out into the world to see how great a stature she could gain among the Archon Demons. She has at this young age already gained her dark blue wings of her Demonic nature. Her kills have not been counted even by her. It is something that is no longer important.

Best described as a 'black widow', but not in the core sense of the meaning, she tends to kill not only males who share her bed, but kills them no matter if she beds them or not. This does not mean though she kills every man she sleeps with. If she feels them important to the Marakian Dimension or she just likes the way they are in bed, she will stay her own hand until she feels the need to unleash that stay. Though make no mistake, she feels nothing when she does kill, except satisfaction. She was reborn wicked to the core, but only those that know her, or know of her, would ever guess it. Maeve usually comes off as sophisticated, relaxed and even kind at times, but underneath the beautiful, soft skin that houses her true self, she is a murderer. With all she has done and how she presents herself, most would assume that Maeve desires power over everything else, but she has no more need for it than the next man, woman, or child. She possesses enough power to sate that portion of her being and gaining too much power would make her a target to slip up and be found out by more than already know. She is truly a secretive creature and makes sure it is so extremely difficult to piece together what makes her tick, and even what her purpose in the Marakai is, that she finds it most pleasing to keep others deciphering her and get it wrong, time after time. She is cold and calculating, but most certainly one that has little problem getting others to trust her and even to admire her.

Maeve attracted the attention of the Archons by murdering an entire band of Fallen Angel spies when she poisoned them all at a dinner she persuaded them to attend. No one knows if she did this just to get into the Archonic Inner Circle, if she had other reasons to kill them, or both. And to Maeve, it is none of their concern. The way she walked, the way her mind worked, and her ability to get what she wanted made her very attractive to the Archons, even from day one in the Marakai. She even proved to them how capable she was by sneaking into the camp of one of the most powerful Archons of the Western Tribes' tent while he slept, without so much as alerting one guard. Archon Palarius-morta could have been killed without anyone knowing, but she did not lift even one finger against him, as she had more than made her point. Palarius-morta, attempting to retain his pride, blamed it on the way of the beautiful being, but all knew better. Maeve had proven time and time again, she was really that good.

Although Maeve states she has lived in the Marakai for four hundred years, her lifespan has only been recorded for a short time over 200. Besides Maeve and the Beasts, there are only 2 others who know how old she truly is. But there is one that knows how old her soul really is. In Maeve's human form, she outwardly displays that she has the ability of "Healing", which she has learned to turn into what she calls "disHealing", and not so frequently displays her abilities of Mind Control and Memory Manipulation, which she has mastered all three to their fullest ability. She is able to use the abilities of the Urandrum she is, but must be careful that others do not see her use them, for to them, she is nothing more than a mere human with special abilities. It was the Empresses whom reside in the Fortress of Deshu, whom decided Maeve should be guarded because of her unique abilities, so they set an Archon with her, Krassus Knole. It is he who is the only one who has discovered Maeve's secret, and even she sees his attempts to manipulate her into seeking the revenge he wishes for the secret she gleaned from him, and did not kill him for. She has all the abilities of the Urandrum, which of course she keeps secret. But she grows weary of Krassus. He seems to find a way to manipulate her away from certain events and people. Be it that he has been ordered by the Empresses or some hidden reason, she has become quite unpredictable as of late.

There are so many things about Maeve that are more than a mystery to even some of the most powerful of folk. One day she is there, among the socialites, then the next, she is nowhere to be found, and upon her return, she gives absolutely no explanation. The greatest example of this was displayed during an Arivian Gathering in the Land of Aris-Ivis. She sat, she drank, she conversed, and suddenly there was no sign of her anywhere. It was as though she had disappeared in a single breath. Those who were with her could not fathom how it happened, or where she went. She did return though several days later at the end of the Gathering where she sat, she drank and she conversed again as if she had never left. People were either too leery to ask or smart enough not to.. And if asked, Maeve would only smile sweetly and move on without explanation, for she never sees or feels any reason to explain herself.

Maeve can most likely be found in Aris-Ivis, in the castle at the Provincial capital of Bayle. She does not rule the castle, and she has no desire to. She has lived there much of her reborn life since she has had her Archon watcher, and her face is one of the few that never changes. But make no mistake, she may not want to rule the castle, but the respect and fear she has gained from the servants has made it secretly so. Maeve rarely seems to travel, though when she bores of one court she will go seeking other courts to attend. She does like a change of scenery, and many times it catches her Archon guardian off guard. Most times she travels with him, though the times she does not, she goes to the Land of Brada without explanation before or after. When she returns, her face is lit with something of satisfaction, the satisfaction she usually displays when she has just killed someone. No one even dares to follow her, not even Krassus, or at least they won't admit to it, and none who have actually tried and have been caught have not been found.

Many wonder where she goes and what she does when she disappears, especially to Brada and Maeve is very aware of the curiosity, knowing that whispers about her dance through the halls of the castle. Though as Maeve has proven more often then not, her mask is perfected so well, that she just smiles sweetly and walks on by. But if one could be given the single most important word of advice about her it would be.  Never drink from a glass she has personally offered.
