 Lucretia was born within the Marakai into a land of turmoil… of lawlessness, pillaging, and looting. She quickly learned that, in order to survive, one must buy and sell whatever possessions or valuables that were deemed worthy - whether they be priceless heirlooms, knowledge, carnality, power, or even people. It was Lucretia's parents that found out how heartless their little blonde haired angel could be, screaming out for answers as to why, with their last dying breath, as Lucretia rode off with a new shiny and rare stone.
Lucretia was quickly given the reputation as to one who could be bought, for a price. And that price is usually quite steep, yet entirely worth it. She is well known throughout the Marakain black market as a very powerful Witch, and for the right price she could brew you up a potion that would bring immeasurable wealth, or cast a spell that would bring about the death of your enemies.
There are some who seek her out, yet many who are fearful of such a bargain, as with her reputation of her power, there is also a wicked flip side which deters many from working with her. That being that there are very few people still roaming the lands who have worked with her, the majority of her "employers" having disappeared quite mysteriously.
Rumor and speculation are quite powerful allies to Lucretia, and the only ones she does not keep at a distance, and this is just how she likes it.
