Perseis’s
Darkness
Isadora is one of the few pure blood Archon demons to surround herself
with mortals. She is the confidant of the Marakian Empress Perseis, the
darkness to Perseis’s mask of pleasantries. She is the expression that
Perseis denies to show, but she is as hidden as the woman she answers to.
Do not be deceived, Isadora is no slave to the whims of Perseis, but she
is a willing subordinate. But why would a being such as an Archon submit
to such an odd creature? A simple answer: carnage.
On the Archon scheme of things, Isadora is higher on the power scale. She
is feared by many within her own race, for she is one of the few that
does not consider the mortality of a person a handicap. To her, it simply
means she must take care to the things she does. Death perfumes this
delicate woman, the darkness of her being portrayed in the obsidian eyes
she possesses.
She is the only being Perseis’s trusts. Isadora is the personal guard and
assassin of this enchanting Empress. She is the one to dirty her hands
and relay the tales to her mistress. Perseis’s joy is Isadora’s, her
anger the lash of Isadora’s whip. Isadora is not a gentle creature, and
is often over looked by men no matter how fare of face she is. She is
considered cruel, even by her own kind, but her nature mingles well with
that of the Empress.
Isadora is the tool used by the Empress to sculpt the Marakai. It is rare
that Isadora is seen, but she is always there, a constant shadow to the
woman she has sworn to oversee. But Isadora is her own independent woman,
and has been known to disappear for a long period of time. What she does
during this time is known to few, for like Perseis, Isadora trust very
few. If she has a past, a family, it has not even been mentioned to the
Empress herself. There appears to be no weakness to this woman, though
she is as imperfect as the next.
