Blaine Harailt
Race: Human
Blaine Harailt
is a young man with a big head. He dreams big, and his mouth never stops
running, which is a bad trait considering his occupation. Within the walls
of the Fortress of Deshu, Blaine is a guard for the Marakian Dimension, where he
encounters many races. Above all, he loves to be nosey, and he writes down
everything he sees in hopes that one day...well....never mind. That would
give away what he truly wishes to do, and we can't have that now, can we?
Ah, yes, as I
was saying. Blaine is a feisty man at the tender age of twenty-two.
This is a young age to be a guard within the Fortress. Despite his lack of
maturity, Blaine is a very trustworthy guard, and would risk his life for those
that he protects without a second thought. As to being stationed at one
particular place, he isn't. Blaine is sent all over the Fortress to
protect first one person and then another. Or, he's sent off to deliver
scrolls. Which, of course, if they aren't sealed, he takes a peak at.
As I told you, he is a curious lad.
Blaine has an
older brother and two younger sisters, whom he hasn't seen since he started to
work at the Fortress, which has been several years now. This doesn't
bother him, since he isn't very close to his family anyhow. His mother had
died while giving birth to his youngest sister, and his father had drank himself
to death, but not before he blamed his beloved wife's death on all the children.
Blaine's father beat him and his brother so brutally that Blaine nearly didn't
pull out alive. After becoming well, Blaine had shut the rest of the world
out, and spent the better part of his youth training and writing. He is a
master of documenting everything, and he has a way with words that could
describe any place, person, or creature alike and make you feel as if you were
there seeing it for yourself. Blaine has big dreams of
actually being someone other than a guard, and if any opportunities presents
themselves, he will jump at it regardless the cost.
