Airlia Yseult

Airlia is the younger sister of Solania Yseult, who works for Empress Nicia Madelhari.  Airlia is younger than Solania by a year, being at the age of eighteen.  Like Solania, Airlia has a vast knowledge about the practices of an Arcane Alchemist, but she doesn’t put it to use, as Solania does. While growing up, Airlia could often times be seen following Solania about, watching Solania as she learned everything she knew.  Both girls are very smart, so it wasn’t a surprise that Airlia picked up on everything Solania learned.  This leaves Airlia to know just as much about the practice as Solania does.

Unlike Solania, Airlia doesn’t find it to be one of her passions.  Often times, she feels as though she is a cast out, since she really has no talents that would be considered profitable to many.  Now things have changed, and Solania resides with the Empress, and isn’t allowed to have any contact with her family.  Yet, Solania insures that they are well taken care of, and want for nothing.  Their parents want nothing to do with what they call evil money that Solania sends back home, so Airlia keeps it and spends only what she needs.

Airlia is quiet in nature, and often times considered a loner by many.  With her nose usually stuck in a book, or painting something, Airlia hasn’t much time to associate with anyone outside of her family.  Her family fears that she could turn out like

Solania, in that she will devote her life to someone else’s cause, and not make a life for herself.  Airlia has vowed to not do what her sister has done, but she still supports Solania in any decision she makes.  She can only live one day at a time, and soon her destiny will be laid out before her.
